Your dog works hard.
Your gear should too.
Gear made for real use, real pressure, and real handlers. Every product has a clear purpose. Every detail matters. Nothing added without a reason.
Where it started
RNRK9 started when we spotted a gap in the Canadian market — dominant dog collars that actually worked and were easy to use. We filled it. Then we kept looking.
We stitch everything with intention. Every product we carry exists because a real handler asked for it, needed it, or couldn't find it anywhere else. We built this company alongside our community — their feedback shapes what we make, and we keep showing up with gear that works.
"If it doesn't serve a real function, it doesn't belong."
Five principles. No exceptions.
Community First
Every product is shaped by real handlers, real feedback, and real-world use. We listen before we build.
Earned Trust
We earn trust through consistency, not claims. Our reputation is built one handler at a time.
Built to Perform
Purpose-built for pressure. If a product doesn't serve a real function, it doesn't belong in our lineup.
Minimal by Design
Every detail is intentional. Built without excess. No visual noise, no unnecessary features, nothing wasted.
Always Improving
Constantly evolving, refining, and testing. We don't stop at good enough — we keep listening and keep building.
Why these materials. Why not others.
We don't carry materials because they're popular. We carry them because they perform.
Biothane
Waterproof, odour-resistant, and nearly indestructible. Biothane holds up to mud, water, sweat, and repeated use. It doesn't absorb bacteria and it doesn't rot. It's the most practical material for daily working use.
Latigo Leather
Tanned for strength and flexibility. Latigo leather doesn't just survive hard use — it improves with it. Properly maintained, it outlasts the dog and the handler. When you want something that earns its character over time, there's nothing better.
Hardware
No decorative clips. No lightweight hardware that bends under a pulling dog. We spec hardware rated for real load — the kind that doesn't fail on a trail or in a training session when it matters most.
